I would like to thank all visitors and KARG members that participating in International Marconi Day 2015 from Ballybunion,
A great time was had by all, and it is hoped to build on this years success to make it an even bigger and better event next year. Special thanks must go to the management of Colaiste Bhreanainn for allowing us such a fantastic and historic location. Without them this event could not have happened.
We would also like to thank the Irish Coastguard for presenting us with a beautiful certificate of appreciation for running the event, and we hope to see you in 2016 again.
EI1K managed to make just under 600 QSO's with almost 70 countries logged.
The next event on the calender is the IRTS 40 metre Counties Contest, which is on Sunday 17th May, from 12:00 UTC to 15:00 UTC. It is hoped that as many KARG members as possible will get on the air to put Kerry in the logs, as we are always a very much sought after county.
The next KARG meeting will be held in Killarney at the upstairs meeting room at Presentation School Sports Hall, next to the Cathedral in Killarney, at the usual time of 11am.
KARG are also at the planning stages for ILLW 2015 from Cromwell Point Lighthouse, Valentia Island. As many op's as possible are required, to make this a success again this year, so please mark it in your diaries!
