The Commissioner of Irish Lights will only allow persons registered with the KARG and who have signed the indemnity forms for the event, entry onto the operating site and this rule will be strictly enforced. The Commissioner of Irish Lights will review and approve our indemnity form submission in advance of the date.
Anybody who is definitely participating, or anybody who is not sure but might take part in the event should complete the indemnity form, which will be available at the forthcoming club. There will no issue if they don't attend but it covers them if they do decide to attend.
There will be a 100Watt output limit at the event, due to the proximity of the lighthouse the Valentia Coast Radio Station.
All likely participants are asked to complete this indemnity form at their earliest convenience.
It is hoped that we can make this as fun an event as in previous years..

KARG has registered for this years International Lighthouse and Lightship weekend taking place over 20th and 21st August 2011 at Cromwell Point Lighthouse.

- The club officers for 2011 are as follows:
Chairman - John Gill EI9JO,
Vice-chairman - Billy O'Connor EI7CQB,
Secretary - John Costello EI9ESB,
QSL manager and webmaster - Declan Horan EI9FVB.
- The club will hold its first field day in March. Location to be decided at the next club meeting in February.
- Club fees are now due from members. The annual fee is remaining at 30 Euro.
